You Kill Me

Tea Leone (The Family Man) and Sir Ben Kingsley (House of Sand and Fog) star in this fairly original satire about an alcoholic hitman. He begins the movie by falling asleep in the middle of a hit, and completely screwing up everything for his mafia uncle and brother. They want him to help, but know he is in no shape with his current addiction. They ship him out to San Francisco where he begins attending AA, and meets a strange woman
He begins working parttime as a mortician, and slowly recovers until he can get up the fortitude and the nerve to return to his old profession, and be honest and clean before the woman. It’s actually quite well paced, and always keeps you on your toes. Ben Kingsley does a masterful job and really sells himself as a man with a problem, trying to take care of problems.
Terrific screen play as well, I believe this was an independent movie, so pretty amazing, actually. 2.
