Blues Brothers

This movie is a classic, John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd explode onto the big screen with their rhythm and blues review, the Blues Brothers. Joliet Jake (Belushi) gets out of prison and is greeted by Elwood (Aykroyd) who ahs been waiting for him. There first visit to their childhood caretaker reveals that they must get the band back together and save the orphanage, and that is it by Divine Appointment.
The Brothers go about their mission from God, retrieving their lost compatriots and all the while dodging vengeful State Troopers and the Illinois Nazi’s. They put the band back together through a series of shenanigans and musical Lessons from famous stars like Cab Calloway, ray Charles and Aretha Franklin.
Finally they get the gigs they need and play a couple shows, but will they be able to pay off the penguins tax debt? The Blues Brothers are true American Heroes from the Heartland, Chicago. This movie is an absolute classic. The Blues brothers prance about dressed as “Hasidic Diamond Merchants” and alwayas sticking up for right, whether it be against the Nazi’s, the rich, or, those attempting to arres tthem. A 2, and one of my favorites.
